Lecture by Schubert-Consulting at ProSweets 2020 in Cologne

At ProSweets 2020 in Cologne, Heiko Burkhardt from Schubert-Consulting gave a lecture in the “Speakers Corner” as part of the session “The success story of savory snacks – production and packaging”.

At ProSweets 2020 in Cologne, Heiko Burkhardt from Schubert-Consulting gave a lecture on “High Speed Packaging of Snacks – without Buffering Systems. Improved Process Flow in Packaging of Snacks” and presented the latest developments and concepts for economical packaging of food. After illustrating the characteristics of production and packaging of confectionery and snacks, concepts were shown as to how these challenges can be met with flexible machines, packaging centers and redundant manufacturing concepts. The process flow and the manufacturing costs can be optimized by a holistic process analysis “from dough making to pallet” and with innovative approaches – and there is further potential to meet the requirements of flexible production.

As part of the ProSweets Cologne events, Heiko Burkhardt’s lecture in the “Speakers Corner” (Hall 10.1) was part of the session “The success story of savory snacks – production and packaging”, which was organized and moderated by Herbertz Dairy Food Service. The ProSweets Cologne, international trade fair for the confectionery and snack industry, took place from 2 until 5 February 2020. Over 18,000 visitors from more than 100 countries visited the fair, at which 260 exhibitors from the areas of production and packaging of confectionery and snacks presented their innovations. The ProSweets took place parallel to the world’s leading trade fair ISM for Confectionery, which counted 37,000 visitors from 148 countries.

Winning with expertise: Schubert-Consulting awarded consultant seal of approval

Schubert-Consulting, as part of Schubert Packaging Systems GmbH, was awarded the title of Top Consultant in the “Technical Consulting” category at the German Summit for Medium-Sized Businesses for the third time. Michael Graf (Director Consulting) and Heiko Burkhardt (Senior Consultant) accepted the award from former German President Christian Wulff, who acted as mentor for the project, at a ceremony in Augsburg on 23 June 2023. “After receiving the Top Consultant award in 2015 and 2018, Schubert-Consulting’s third award further confirms the consistently high quality of its consulting services over the years,” says a delighted Michael Graf.
