The Gerhard Schubert Sales Meeting 2023

Ralf Schubert welcomes the participants of the Sales Meeting 2023

The Schubert Sales Meeting has been a tradition for over 35 years. In 2023, more than 160 sales and service representatives from all over the world once again gathered in Crailsheim.

The Gerhard Schubert Sales Meeting has been a tradition for over 35 years. What began as a relatively small group of participants has developed into a major event for the group of companies – with participants from all departments and countries. This year, more than 160 sales and service representatives from Germany, the USA, Canada, France, Japan, Great Britain, China and Australia were welcomed to Crailsheim.

The event, which was moderated by Head of Sales Martin Sauter, was intended to prepare the sales and service representatives for the tasks ahead. Ralf Schubert, for example, provided exclusive insight into state-of-the-art technological developments. This and other presentations gave participants an opportunity to find out first-hand about just about everything – and ensured an important platform for successful sales activities. Working out important current and future topics in groups, as well as networking, were also on the agenda – for example during the informal get-together at the Casino, Gerhard Schubert’s canteen.

This year again, the spotlight was on a number of issues that impact the entire Schubert Group. The “WE” theme, for example, ran through all the presentations: As a long-established family business, it is extremely important for the family, executive management and the entire management team to never lose sight of Schubert’s deeply rooted values and corporate culture – over and above corporate growth and success. The second hot topic this year was, of course, the upcoming interpack trade fair in Düsseldorf, which will be held in May. After several years of the forced Corona break, the event promises to be an unmatched highlight for everyone at Schubert.

Investments to ensure further growth: new Hall 3 for final assembly

After a year and a half of construction and even longer preparation time, it was finally time. On Friday evening, 22 September, Gerhard Schubert GmbH opened the new final assembly hall at its company site in Crailsheim with a festive inauguration ceremony attended by close to 1,100 guests. A further 8,500 square metres are now available for the production of packaging machines and lines. With the new hall, Schubert is expanding its final assembly area by 30 per cent. Together with the office wing which is still under construction, the new building complex represents the largest single investment in Schubert’s history, with an investment volume of roughly 45 million euros. The assembly hall and the administration building provide space for 300 employees.

The Schubert KinderCampus: a new company daycare centre

A company daycare centre was something that Gerhard Schubert, the company founder who passed away this summer, had envisioned many years ago. In recent months, the first steps were taken towards the centre’s planned opening in 2025.
